Tortuga De Oro (TDO) is a Berlin-based label specializing in the production of minimalist rings made from precious metals. Our pieces are an expression of identity, style, and lasting value.
A ring made of precious metal has material value – but only its documented origin lends it permanence and trustworthiness. At TDO, you receive a physical and a digital product passport, in which all the characteristics of your ring and its manufacture are securely recorded to prevent counterfeiting.
Our rings are handcrafted in Germany – with meticulous attention to detail. Each ring comes in a handmade storage pouch crafted by a social enterprise – our commitment to responsibility and social sustainability.

The packaging for our rings was designed and handcrafted in collaboration with a Berlin-based social enterprise. The result is a small pouch that protects and securely stores your rings and other jewelry, even when you're on the go or traveling.
Our digital product passport was developed in collaboration with ... from North Rhine-Westphalia, a company with many years of experience. Feel free to contact us if you would also like to use digital proof of origin for your high-quality products and accessories.
Our rings receive their finishing touches in Berlin. Only through GREBE's many years of experience in Berlin is it possible to guarantee the high level of craftsmanship in our rings.
To send you our digital certificates, we use cards made from recycled plastic. We also handle the printing of the cards in cooperation with the company IDENTBASE.
Fairtrade Gold
We use Fairtrade certified gold for our rings.
The price is between 5 and up to 20% higher than that of conventional gold. Through the additional price, you promote more environmentally friendly mining methods in small-scale mining and better working conditions.
Fairtrade Gold ensures transparent supply chains and guarantees that mining communities receive funding for social and environmental projects.
It is a personal choice to support this added value for people and the environment, to promote decentralization and to anchor a small counterweight to industrial profit maximization.

It`s worth the effort
You can find tips on determining ring size online. Our recommendation: Go to a jeweler or goldsmith and check the ring size and/or take an existing ring with you. Otherwise, the measurement is usually rather inaccurate. Your jewelry is very valuable and therefore the effort is doubly worth it.
Alternatively, you can find online jewelry providers who will send you free plastic measuring tapes that you can use to determine your ring size relatively accurately.
